Jose Fernando Rodriguez Garrido uses jos* as a pseudonym. He was born in Mexico city in 1983. He is based in Toulouse, France. Permanent resident artist at MANICOMIO.PT He is a graduated chef the cuisine from the Le Cordon Bleu culinary arts school, and has a certificate in molecular cuisine techniques applied to desserts, taught by chef Jesús Escalera Ciscares, former head pastry chef at  el BULLI. He worked as a chef the cuisine at the Mexican embassy in Portugal and worked as head chef at Pistola y corazón where he created special menus inspired by video games, movies, music, books, trips and memories. He wrote cooking recipes for the german indie magazine PANTA,  that tells a story and are accompanied by his own words and illustrations, they call him the psychedelic chef. He has a diploma in digital arts and moved to Portugal in 2012 due to an invitation to paint murals in the city of Setubal. His artistic works are represented in cooking, mural, tattoos, drawings, paintings and graffiti formats. He has been presented in group and individual exhibitions in Mexico, Canada, Portugal, France, Germany and the UK.
